Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) 3" Metallic sticker

The Black Walnut is a deciduous tree native to eastern North America. The lush, dark wood is strong, yet easy to work and carve, making it a common material in the furniture industry, for flooring, fine art sculpture, and more. Perhaps even more valuable is the fruit of the Black walnut, a common nut you may be familiar with! These tasty nuts go great in oatmeal, cookies, salads, and trail mixes and are high in protein and fat. The rind of the nuts can also be boiled to make a dark brown ink for use in fine art, calligraphy, or fountain pens. Talk about a versatile tree!
